When he was a student (1984), Nakagawa taught himself to program using a business use personal computer at his house. After joining Hitachi Group, he was selected to become a programming instructor, and after working as an instructor for seven years, Nakagawa decided to become a teacher at a vocational college. From the users of general purpose computers to smartphone applications, Nakagawa was then involved in cutting edge IT education for over 30 years. His area of expertise is not only limited to programming but also infrastructure, information design and many other.
While working as a teacher, Nakagawa had many chances to meet many people from conferences and seminars, including young interns, and start-up founders. This led him to found TechHospitality in 2017, in the hopes of improving the quality and positions of engineers to grow companies, and helping engineers with sufficient supports and education.
Currently he is a Tech Advisor for Candle Inc., Aidemy Inc., Extonic Inc., and Gracia Inc.. As a coauthor, he has published “Welcome to Programming World” (published by Mynavi),supervising “Swift book for non-programmers” (published by Mynavi)
